SME Solutions Group is a certified analytics implementation partner, focused on providing business intelligence solutions to its existing and future clients. We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Sales and Strategic Alliances Manager. This role is expected to manage and be accountable for driving growth through Sales Management and Strategic Partner relationship management. The Sales Management is focused on re-selling of Business Intelligence related software products (Qlik, ThoughtSpot, etc..). The Strategic Partnerships to be managed are with the software vendors we re-sell, including Qlik, ThoughtSpot, MemSQL among others. This role works closely with the Marketing function to drive new business, with collaborations for external events including conferences and demonstration road shows as well as webinars, white papers, etc.. This role also works with Director of Strategy to assist with strategic planning including potential new Partners, training needs and new Sales channels. Heavy focus is on software sales/reselling along with add on Services post software sale.

Reports to the CEO & President who oversees the Sales function and is the sponsor for all Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • One of the first points of contact for all potential new clients
  • Represent SME at Summits/Conferences/etc., and build messaging and presentations for coinciding events
  • Lead for client Sales meetings including the coordination of product demonstrations.
  • Manages and keeps fresh the Sales Pipeline
  • Work with Channel Partner Sales organizations to accelerate growth
  • Business Development networking

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of driving sales revenue growth with Business Intelligence software products
  • 5+ years of Sales experience in the software industry, preferably with focus on Business Intelligence tools and/or Data Analytics solutions
  • Experience with tools including Qlik/Tableau/Power BI as well as preferably newer tools like ThoughtSpot, with a good understanding of how implementations of those solutions create business value
  • Experience with databases like Oracle and MS SQL Server as well as preferably newer tools like MemSQL.
  • Awareness of Data Governance concepts and software solutions like Collibra and Informatica.
  • Prefer experience working with software partners and the reselling of software
  • Experience with software add on Services for ongoing consulting revenues post Sales
  • Work directly with the CEO to increase revenue and suite of services
  • Understand the culture and philosophy of SME and our business model
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, enterprising, and innovative approach to enforcing SME’s culture and persona
