SME Solutions Group is a certified analytics implementation partner, focused on providing business intelligence solutions to its existing and future clients. We are currently looking for a Sales Support Specialist.

The Sales Support Specialist is a critical role in the growth of SME Solutions Group. The office support position is focused on assisting the sales team by managing the sales & services pipeline in the CRM tool; up to date client information, proposals, presentations and additional information needed to complete or enhance the client profile. The role works closely with the marketing division to maintain awareness of new features, technological advancements, and capabilities that may be beneficial when presenting to new, potential clients.

Reports to the Sales & Partners Manager within the SME organization. Must reside in Tampa, Florida.


  • Maintain sales pipeline in CRM (HubSpot) – includes collecting updates from various Sales resources and activities, assuring the CRM accurately represents fresh data and client information
  • Provide reporting on sales pipeline including status by bucket, forecasted revenues from closes and overall growth expectation
  • Create and/or provide information to support the sales process – including, but not limited to preparing sales presentations/proposals for both software & service engagements
  • Provide additional marketing materials customized for targeted clients
  • Engage with Marketing & Events Team to align activities with outlined sales processes assuring best practices and data is provided for events and white papers


  • Basic understanding of Business Intelligence software products and services
  • 3+ years of sales support experience in the software industry, preferably with focus on Business Intelligence tools and/or Data Analytics solutions
  • 3+ years of experience working with a CRM tool for sales pipeline management
  • 2+ years of experience creating proposals for software and/or services sales
  • Preferred experience working with software partners and the reselling of software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial and innovative approach to enforce SME’s culture and environment
