SME Solutions Group is a certified analytics implementation partner, focused on providing business intelligence solutions to its existing and future clients. We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Territory Account Specialist.

This role leads and assists in all efforts to increase revenue by gaining new clients for both Software and Services support in The Carolinas Region. The prime focus is on engaging with potential clients and arranging demonstrations of ThoughtSpot and other Business Intelligence tools to land new clients. This role will manage new use cases and BI user needs, as well as expand SME’s industry reach. Also, responsible for creating presentations for sales pitches in addition to producing presentations and materials to present at summits and conferences representing SME.

Reports to the Sales & Partner Manager.


  • First point of contact for all potential clients in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina
  • Represent SME at Summits/Conferences/etc., build presentations for coinciding events
  • Represent SME at Sales Pitches
  • Manage individual sales pipeline within the SME framework
  • Manage software proposals and interaction with clients on pricing
  • Work with ThoughtSpot / BI Sales Reps to assist in landing new clients/industries
  • Understand competitive analysis and value propositions of several BI Platforms
  • Host Workshops and Seeing is Believing Events
  • Business Development networking
  • Assist in the growth of SME revenues, mainly with new BI Software and BI Services
  • Identifying local business opportunities, challenges, and leads
  • Reporting on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)


  • Understand the culture and philosophy of SME and our business model
  • Experience with expanding existing software licensing footprint
  • Experience with promoting departmental use cases resulting in increased billed services
  • Experience with sales processes and best practices, with proven record of sales success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
